Hard work and practice really pays off. Just ask Nick Golembeski of Silver Creek. The 27yr old Mixed Martial Artist entered a cage to test his skills for the first time August 3rd at  the North American Amateur Fight Series (NAAFS) "Thursday Nite Fights", held in Akron, O.H..

It took a mere 30 seconds for the KnockoutFactory M.M.A. stylist to make East Coast Martial Arts fighter Chuck Ellison quit. Fighting in the 195-205 Lb division, he applied a “Guillotine Choke” to make his adversary tap the canvas, signaling he wanted out.

Nick, a school teacher by day and cage fighter by night, trains at the Salamanca fight club under instructors Mike Tome & Jimmy Wilder.

“I knew I had the choke in tight when we were standing, but when I took him down, it had to hurt. He was tough. He kicked and punched really hard. I give him a lot of credit.” Mr. Golembeski said of his win. “Nick is a very well rounded fighter.” said Mr. Tome “He learns fast and is an impressive physical specimen. I know he will continue to dominate his opponents.”
